Sacroiliac Joint Pain Relief — An Advance7 Customer Review
Sacroiliac Joint Pain Was Taking Over My Life. Advance7 Changed That.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I worked in banking most of my life. Started out branch-based, then towards the end of my career, the branches started disappearing, and I became more of a relationship manager, visiting clients across Kent and into Essex.
So suddenly, I was spending huge amounts of time in the car. Some days, four or five hours driving, easily. At the time, you don’t think much of it. You just get on with it.
These days I’m retired. I cycle quite a bit now, mostly country lanes and longer weekend rides. That’s become my thing, really.
What problems were you having?
Lower back pain, mainly. But not the normal sort where your whole back aches.
It crept in slowly over time. Looking back, I probably first noticed it years earlier while I was still working, driving around visiting clients across Kent and into Essex.
At first, I just put it down to getting older. It wasn’t too bad then. A bit stiff getting out of the car, slightly uncomfortable after a long drive, nothing dramatic.
But then it got a little bit worse, then a little bit worse again. Sitting became uncomfortable. I’d get out of the car and have to straighten myself up slowly. The first few steps were awful sometimes. Most of the pain sat right at the base of my spine and spread through my hips.
In the end my wife said to me, “Look at you. You need to do something about this.” That was probably the push I needed to finally get it checked properly.
Did you know what it was?
No, not initially. The symptoms were pain in my lower back and hips.
I just called it lower back pain for ages. Eventually, I went to the doctor because it kept getting worse, and after a few appointments, I was told it was sacroiliac joint dysfunction.
I’d genuinely never heard of the sacroiliac joint before that.
Then, of course, you do what everyone does: you start reading about it online, and suddenly you realise loads of people have it.
How did it affect your life?
Cycling was the big one.
That’s my escape, really. I enjoy getting out for a few hours, stopping somewhere for coffee, and clearing my head.
But the sacroiliac joint pain started hanging over every ride. I’d still go, but I was thinking about it constantly.
Longer drives became miserable, too. My wife would say, “You’re quiet,” and it was because I was just sitting there, uncomfortable, waiting to get out of the car.
How did you come across Advance7?
A friend of mine used them on his knees and kept going on about it.
I’d seen the adverts before but ignored them. Then one afternoon, after a ride, I was rubbing my lower back, and he said, “Why don’t you actually try the stuff instead of moaning about it?”
So he gave me a tube.
What was your first impression?
Better than I expected, honestly. I had found some sacroiliac joint pain exercises online, and they were helping, but Advance7 was a game-changer.
I used both hands to massage it properly into the sacroiliac joint area, right at the base of the spine, where the pain was worst.
There was a cooling feeling first, then warmth underneath it. Within twenty minutes or so, I could feel the area loosening up.
That first evening was the first time in ages I’d sat through dinner without constantly shifting position.
How quickly did it become part of your routine?
Very quickly.
At first I was using it three times a day, morning, lunchtime and before bed, because the pain had become such a constant thing.
Then after a few weeks I realised I wasn’t needing it as often.
Now it depends what I’ve been doing. If I’ve had a long drive or a harder bike ride, I’ll use it twice that day. Sometimes once. Occasionally I don’t need it at all until the evening.
What difference has it made overall?
Massive difference.
The biggest thing is that the pain is no longer controlling my day.
Before, everything revolved around the pain. How long I’d been sitting. How far I’d driven. Whether I’d pay for it afterwards.
Now I just get on with things again.
I’m cycling properly, driving comfortably, sleeping better, and I’m not constantly thinking about my lower back every five minutes.
Would you recommend it?
Absolutely.
Especially if someone’s been told they have sacroiliac joint pain and they’re sitting there wondering what on earth they’re supposed to do about it.
For me, Advance7 genuinely changed things.
I still keep active, I still stretch, I still try to look after myself properly, but this is the thing that gave me real relief and got me comfortable again.
